About Us

I am about to sound like an old shampoo advertisement "IT WONT HAPPEN OVER NIGHT BUT IT WILL HAPPEN" that is, if you want something long enough. It has taken me thirty years to finally achieve some of the things I wanted in my life.
I trained overseas as a young girl with very high ideals (ha ha). I was left handed and in those days there were no scissors for leftys, so the hard work started. My teacher knew what he wanted and after six long years he got it. I received honours in all my exams.
I have lived in the birkdale area for 35 years now and my children attended the local schools. Whenthe birkdale community house opened I used to show the young mums how to cut their childrens hair.
Over time I have managed a few salons but I always wanted a salon where people felt welcome and not intimidated.
